By accessing or using our website, registering for the conference, or otherwise using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use our services.
2. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on our website and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of our services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
3. Registration and Account
To register for the conference or access certain features of our services, you may need to create an account. You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate and complete information
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if any information provided is inaccurate, outdated, or incomplete.
4. Conference Registration and Attendance
4.1 Registration
Conference registration is subject to availability and confirmation. Your registration is not confirmed until you receive a confirmation email from us and your payment has been processed successfully.
4.2 Ticket Transfers and Refunds
Tickets may be transferred to another person up to 14 days before the event by contacting our support team. Refunds are available up to 30 days before the event with a 15% processing fee. Within 30 days of the event, tickets are non-refundable but can still be transferred.
4.3 Conference Modifications
We reserve the right to modify the conference program, speakers, venue, or schedule at any time without prior notice. In the event of a significant change, we will make reasonable efforts to notify registered attendees.
4.4 Conference Cancellation
If we cancel the conference, we will provide a full refund of the registration fee. However, we are not responsible for any other expenses incurred by attendees, such as travel or accommodation costs.
4.5 Attendee Conduct
All attendees must comply with our Code of Conduct. We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any person from the conference who does not comply with the Code of Conduct or whose conduct we deem inappropriate.
5. Intellectual Property
5.1 Our Content
All content on our website and materials provided at the conference, including text, graphics, logos, images, audio, video, and software, are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not use, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of our content without our express written permission.
5.2 Your Content
By submitting content to us (such as speaker proposals, feedback, or forum posts), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, and distribute such content in any media. You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights to grant this license.
5.3 Photography and Recording
We may photograph, film, or record parts of the conference for promotional or educational purposes. By attending the conference, you consent to being photographed, filmed, or recorded, and you grant us the right to use your image, voice, and likeness in any media.

Our website and services may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services. Your interactions with any third-party website or service are solely between you and the third party.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
OUR SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT OUR SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF OUR SERVICES, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF OUR SERVICES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU FOR THE CONFERENCE REGISTRATION.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless TechConf, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of our services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another.
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of our services shall be brought exclusively in the federal or state courts located in San Francisco, California, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
11. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid, illegal, or unenforceable provision shall be deemed modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid, legal, and enforceable.
12. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Code of Conduct, constitute the entire agreement between you and TechConf regarding your use of our services and supersede all prior agreements and understandings, whether written or oral.
